It was 2003 and Moneymaker, an amateur poker player who had satellited into the WSOP Main Event, was heads-up against veteran pro Sammy Farha. The title of world champion plus millions of dollars was on the line but all that pressure didn't stop Moneymaker from pulling off one of the most daring bluffs anyone had ever seen. The fact that the amateur was able to fool the poker shark was like a fairy tale and it's inspired countless poker players to try to do the same.

It's easy to think that Moneymaker just closed his eyes, crossed his fingers and made a wild bluff but in reality there were a lot of carefully considered factors that went into that move.
